Using the same human-grade, USA-sourced ingredients from its trusted lines of dog and cat foods, Evanger’s for Ferrets features premium meat-based nutrition for a more natural diet.

Ferrets often imprint on their first food after weaning, establishing it as the only food it will eat. That trait makes it crucial to provide a food meeting the nutritional requirements a ferret demands. While the average lifespan of a domesticated ferret is five years, they can survive up to 20 years with the correct diet. 

Dry ferret foods on the market typically contain less protein and fat than Evanger's for Ferrets. While some of the protein in dry food is derived from vegetable or fruit ingredients, Evanger's protein is entirely meat based with added taurine.
